What a shock. Long time ago in Nottingham was a friend of mine when he used to go to the Cocked Hat and other drinking holes of those of us who still wore drapes and brother creepers. We even dated the same girl ( not at the same time I might add). I had only just discovered how well he had done for himself through his talent and hard work. I was just following his career and it brought me here. RIP Dave I will never forget you. Sincere condolences to his friends and family.

Hadn't heard from you in a while. Now I know why. RIP were a one off ! Regards to Tina if she's still around. Nick.

Sad to hear of Rockin' Dave's death. I played bass for him briefly in an early version of Red Hot in 1977 whilst he was living in Bedford and can remember me and his roadie, Phil the Ted, having to get the 'Fumble' piano down from his first floor flat for rehearsals. I can also remember my then girlfriend distinctly not being impressed with the porno cuttings all over the inside of his Thames van. Anyway, I was offered a tour of Finland but turned it down for a full time job, having just left school - something I've regretted to this day. He was a unique character. RIP Dave x

Deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your Rockin' Dave. He was "The Real Thing", and lived the life of a rock n' roll purist. I had the pleasure to meet him on tour with Big Daddy in '85. Although he contributed greatly to our show with his spot on expertise, it was the fun loving spirit and energy that shined through his music that I loved. He had a right hand that wouldn't quit, while his left pounded out the bass line...usually accompanied by his extended right leg perched on the keyboard! What a showman! I fondly remember the white upright piano he brought to all of our shows (...and how you would often be there to help him move it!) Then came the ceremonial "Dusting Of The Keys" with baby powder...only to be followed by the most outrageous slides and solos that defined the era he truly owned. Classic! Tiina, how fortunate he was to have you by his side for all these years. So nice of you to keep this site live! Wishing you God's comfort and peace. Rock On, Rockin' Dave.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing....He worked with us ("Big Daddy") in 1985 when we toured to support our single "Dancing in the Dark". Dave performed on our two UK visits that year playing live gigs and national TV shows such as Whistle Yest and The Kenny Everett Show. I'll never forget hearing Dave for the first time at Nomis Rehearsal Studio when he blew our minds with some of the finest Boogie Woogie piano playing we have ever heard.... and we have heard some of the best here in the states. A great guy and a major talent, Dave will be missed by all of us 1950's Rockers!

Rockin Dave Taylor was a rock and roll star in England many years ago and he was very popular. For a few years we got to see and hear him perform in his Club here in Angeles City. Every Thursday night the Midnight Rock Club was packed as that was the only night that Dave performed his magic on his specially made piano. During the time Dave was here he had his share of bad luck. He first went into a partnership with a man when they opened a Club close to the present Fields Ave Walking Street, I believe it was the “Kitten Club” but shortly thereafter the partnership fell apart on less than friendly terms. Dave was quite sad about that because he only wanted to have a place to play his music. Fortunately, he was able to find a location on Perimeter Road that he named “Midnight Rock”. Even then he was the victim of two robberies and harassment from City Hall officials that unfairly closed him down for less than legitimate reasons. He was really down in the dumps for a while but then was able to overcome those obstacles and was able to keep himself and his many customers happy with his piano playing and singing. If you were fortunate enough to have sat and talked with Dave he could regale you with a hundred stories of the days he toured the world and who he performed with. He became ill and was in and out of hospital until finally, someone upstairs decided he wanted to book his talent for eternity. Every time I pass the extended Fire Pit bar I can’t help but wish that Dave and his music were still with us. P.S. To know this man you have to access these websites. He was truly amazing.

A larger than life raising up a storm always rock'n'roller. Since meeting Dave while he played with 'Little Tina and Flight 56'. He made himself memorable as an artiste and as a person. The entire Worldwide rock'n'roll scene will miss him. Thanks for the good times and great music Dave.

June 02, 2015 @11:20 pm

Hi Dave, My name is Ron Gandy and I have been in the Angeles area for a about 7 years. I have never seen your talent but I've read a lot of good things about you from the "boards" plus Harry the Horse likes you, too. I am a 64 year old American guy and, of course, I have a young beautiful Filipina girlfriend. I want to show her and let her hear (and me, too) some hard rockabilly music. I will go to Midnight Rock tomorrow and speak with your people. I am not a "hi-so" guy but I want to arrange to have a table where we can see you "ROCK". Please don't think I'm a flake cause we want to see you, buy you some drinks and watch you do == what y0u d0! Thank You, Ron Gandy

January 28, 2015 @03:52 am

Rockin Dave: I just wanted to thank you for all of the joy you bring me when I listen to your music. I have always loved blues music, boogie woogie and your style is priceless. Keep up the great work and I look forward to many more years of happiness. If I could receive an autographed picture, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not mind sending you a SASE envelope to help cover the costs. Just let me know. Thank you,

I have to report that Rockin Dave is still alive and well and keeping the music alive at the Midnight Rock on Perimeter Road. On the night we visited the Imerex Plaza Hotel on the way home I realized that it was Thursday night. I told the Mrs that we will stop by and shock the hell out of Dave with my visit. Sure enough he was surprised as I do not get there as often as I would like. I saw a special on TV with FOX reporter Rivera presenting a special on the 80th birthday of Elvis Presley. It made me think of Rockin Dave who is still a LIVING legend. He doesn’t have that long black hair anymore, and is a bit thicker around the waist but the man still has the energy. He is a pure entertainer and Rock and Roll is still alive every Thursday night at Dave’s bar. I’m not exaggerating, the man is a wizard on the piano. I do not know why he is not on the “oldies circuit” making a few bucks touring. Dave is really quite famous and has performed all over the world and played on stage with a lot of the famous singers and bands of old. He is a true performer and his Midnight Rock should be on the tourist map of Angeles City. I would love to see him play some serious musical numbers on the piano, maybe on nights other than Thursdays. I want to see the full extent of his talents on the piano. When you hit town stop by and see Dave, maybe even buy one of his CD’s.

hope u r feeling better after that ordeal of being robbed at gun point. I know its really bad what has happen to you. when we lived in Angeles and would come visit you ever Thursday night my brother said this place is getting dangerous we need to move. So we started looking we traveled to Dipolog and south to Cebu and finally found this place here in Puerto Princesa. it has been very safe and no problems at any time but I was robbed for my motorcycle helmets. its ok at least they didn’t try to kill me like they did to you. well have a great day today because its all about you. I hope you enjoy a great day and feel all the love we all have for you. You're a great guy and great friend. Im honored just knowing you. thanks Dave. Keep on Rockin!!!!

Hello Dave: that tour of Britain and Ireland with Sleepy was an adventure, challenge? I was the bass player with Rob Godwin on the drums and a fine job you did on piano and vocals I think under the conditions you describe we did alright. Remember how Sleepy used to eat loads of raw garlic? Have you heard we have lost that good friend and reprobate: Fred: (Freddie "Fingers" Lee) I played bass for him a number of years and must say never a dull moment was had by all.

It was a fun night at Midnight Rock, despite the rain and a short brown-out. Dave is one talented guy who can bang the hell out of his piano and I sure would have like to have seen him perform in England when he was a bit, ok, a lot younger and had a full head of hair. He might be older now but his talent remains and it is the best free show in town. If you see his act once, you will want to return, take pictures and know you are watching a living legend. Make sure you visit the Midnight Rock Music Lounge on Perimeter Road on Thursday nights, that is the ONLY night Dave performs.

I visiting Midnight Rock once this past year (whirlwind trip around the Phils), but I had a great time and regretted only that I did not get a chance to meet you. I will be back in February and will try again then!

December 24, 2012 @06:48 am

Thank you Dave for sharing your music with me. You make people smile when we see you give your heart out to your music. Thanks for letting me be a part of your world.

December 21, 2012 @05:10 am

Looking through Dave;s website and doing a bit of googling, this Rockin Dave is the real deal....the man is actually a bit of legend....and a true long lasting entertainer....not that i doubted him. But after a bit of research ...I came to realise AC has a genuine rock n roll legend in its midst and we are not really taking advantage of seeing this guy perform for FREE....

December 21, 2012 @05:00 am

What a musician, Rockin Dave , my view a place such as Angeles is privileged to have such a guy performing in town ,saw him play on Thursday nights a couple of times with my uncle in tow , Dave is brilliant .. ,

I tend to gravitate to International places. Midnight Rock is owned by Brit "Rocking Dave".

December 05, 2012 @07:09 am

I hope to catch another great show at the Midnight Rock in a couple of weeks. Rock on Dave.

December 05, 2012 @07:07 am

I have been do Dave's bar and had a great time. In fact it was one of the nights he was playing and the place was packed. We could not get a seat there was so many in there. His "policies" are definitely pro customer.

December 05, 2012 @07:04 am

I had some friends over from Thailand a while back and we popped in Midnight Rock but it wasnt a Thursday so Dave wasnt due to play, they were not really that bothered about seeing the show anyway but I told Dave they had come all the way from Pattaya to see his show and talked him in to playing. Dave started playing and the bar went from empty to nearly full over the next thirty minutes. One of the guys from Pattaya was so impressed that he made sure when he comes over here for his fiftieth birthday next year that they are in AC on the Thursday so he can take the boys to Midnight Rock. Dave offers something a little bit different to the bar scene and if you havent been in on a Thursday evening give it a go.

December 05, 2012 @07:01 am

September 11, 2012 @01:04 pm

Been to Midnight Rock in Angeles 3 times; have seen Dave's show twice. Love it.

September 11, 2012 @01:56 am

The piano playing kicks ass, you won't find that kind of talent anywhere in Asia, let alone the Philippines. Heck, you would have a hard time finding that quality of music in the USA now unless you were in a big city like New Orleans or San Francisco.

July 28, 2012 @05:20 pm

More power to Rockin Dave

July 21, 2012 @05:42 am

No ones arguing its a great act and entertainement always go when in town and if I am there on a thursday , once been most are smitten with Daves show ,and as mentioned before I want more , more live music , if Dave can but do one a week so be it , but Dave if you can find more live music, and we get two nights live music a week at your Bar, would be brilliant ..just saying .

July 17, 2012 @03:31 am

Great, many forms of Rock your sort is good because you are a virtuoso , I know when I hear rock and what aint, be it early stuff, heavy stuff, if its done well I love all forms of it, I think Angeles bars and down subic way lends itself to Rock music, the gals can't dance to it its said, but to hell with gals dancing the shite music they like to move there feet to very slowly mind ain't good to listen to its rubbish music, , if they cant then dont, I do prefer to hear rock music played and drink in a bar any day for me perfect .

July 16, 2012 @04:33 am

After reading about Dave's show on this site i had to go check it out. Love the show. It is a must if you are in AC. All the girls are really nice.

Kuya cool
July 10, 2012 @09:36 am

Abnett and anyone else: Rockin Dave is still playing live every Thursday nite at Midnight Rock, can't beat it for a good night out!

July 03, 2012 @07:32 am

I think you have one exellent bar in Angeles and something different, weve been there every time we visit AC, with thursdays your live performance night if you still perform live, its a real treat for guys in Angeles not to be missed, and what more if they take there gals they love it ours did live Rock n Roll. :All_Good: I would love to see more Rock music in bars , Anglewitch tries hard ,and also if played live even better, your right Dave crap rap music doesnt fit Angeles City at all is my point of view but rock and roll does fit perfectly . I would urge any one in AC who likes Rock and roll music and to see a real pro rock n roller find some good company and wants a treat then go visit Daves bar Midnight Rock for a great night out especially if Daves still performing his live set ,In Midnight Rock it used to be thursday nights and is something a bit special I hope Rocking Dave can tell if hes still performing live and when .

June 30, 2012 @07:41 am

I've been to Midnight Rock Bar on Perimeter Road on a Thursday night, and I can say that it is the best most professional entertainment that I have seen in Angeles City. And it's free! Anyone who hasn't been to the show, needs to see Rockin Dave in action at least once. Awesome show!

June 28, 2012 @02:56 am

Wonderfull show dave is amazing , but like when I go to some of the places Dave has shownon his Vidio I like to enjoy more than just one ( thursday ) night , Now if Dave could put on his or some other rock n roll artist show at Midnight Rock on some other nights, so we could enjoy say two or three live Performances a week at his nice bar wouldn't that be just great, for me perfect . just saying .

June 25, 2012 @09:42 am

When "Rockin Dave" (Dave Taylor who was a recording artist in UK in the early 80's) burst onto the stage the place came alive! I have fond memories of attending Winifred Atwell shows when I was a youngster and his style reminded me of those days. That pink piano is reminiscent of Winifred Atwell's famous "other piano" and contains a few surprises that come in very handy for Rockin Dave. He also throws it about the stage whilst making great music in a most unconventional way!

March 30, 2012 @07:29 am

Yeah Ready, it was a great night. A good time was had by all. Rockin Dave was as good as the positive write-up's, I've read about him & his establishment. I'll be back there for sure.

December 09, 2011 @05:41 am

I was just reading your history. I remember the great shows I saw you do in Hong Kong where we first met. Remember the show in Reddng, I think, when I went with you down there after my flight to London from NY. Boy was I tired but I was not going to miss going to your show. Big Jay McNealy played the sax and I had a good time talking to him. The audience was huge and enthusiastic. Those are good memories that I have and will always cherish. I miss the good times in Angeles City on my layovers with Flying Tigers. We stayed at the Oasis Hotel and I always went to the bars in the back street behind the hotel. Great times Dave.

December 09, 2011 @05:39 am

I saw your show last night at Midnight Rock, and believe me, it was netter than ANY Los Vegas cabaret show I've ever seen!!!!!

December 02, 2011 @11:25 pm

July 03, 2011 @02:53 am

Greetings my friend! Thank you very much Rockin Dave for writing and remembering me. I was the guy in the little red car, which i still own and is waiting for my return. I remember you and the Midnight rock fondly in my heart. I am back in Kentucky, USA. The only reason i left the Philippines was to work and make some money so i can return and buy a farm there in Pampanga and live out my days rockin to some old timey boogie woogie! I miss everything about over there, and think about it daily. Hope all is well with you Rockin Dave. I respect how you have done business there and survived all these years doing what you love. Keep it rockin and i will see you in 2 years, Christmas 2013. Thank you for remembering me, i show all my friends videos of you performing boogie woogie. Awesome! God bless you, Sincerely, Michael Charles

June 30, 2011 @07:42 pm

In Response to: Video: Hello,Dave! That's the kind of show we wanted to see in Tallinn,Estonia back in the day on Finnish TV on Saturday night. What were we shown? "Lauantai Tanssit" with Mikko Alotalo, all these grey and bald heads moving around the screen in front of our faces! Couldn't wait for that to end (parents liked it)! Luckily they showed some good (hopefully!) American movie after that. These Finnish musicians playing with you were excellent too.Crowds had good fun. This is the most insane piano playing I have ever seen! Great job! Better 30 years later than never I guess (for us to see). All the best Thomas

June 26, 2011 @09:58 am

I'm glad I discovered your Thursday night boogie woogie show. I'll definitely be spending my Thursday nights in AC at your bar !

May 01, 2011 @04:18 am

Just when I had almost decided that each bar in Angeles was pretty much a clone of the others, I came across something different. I stumbled into Midnight Rock about 10:00 last Thursday night and found the ‘joint was a rolling and a rockin’, going round and round’ to quote Chuck Berry. Rockin’ Dave Taylor, who owns/manages Midnight Rock, was pumping out rock and roll music on the piano with a flair and power that Jerry Lee Lewis would be proud of. The music from the 50s and early 60s that led the rock rebellion was so familiar, and Dave’s flamboyance on the keyboard so mesmerizing, I couldn’t get enough of it. I missed girls in their wide skirts and multi-layered petticoats, bobby sox and flat soled pink shoes jiving all round the place but I guess you can’t have everything in this life. And if you should ever doubt Dave’s ability or his authenticity, don’t. Dave has toured with Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, B.B. King and the real Shakin’ Stevens as well as having a successful solo career. The man knows his stuff and puts on a great show every Thursday night from 8:00. Get yourself down to Midnight Rock on Don Juico Avenue/Perimeter Road one Thursday and soak up the music from a kinder, gentler age. You won’t be sorry.

Rockin Dave can do more things with a piano than Jerry Lee Lewis could ever imagine. Catch Dave in the mood to give it some welly and you will see a natural performer; fine pianist and a walking encyclopedia of rock & roll in his natural environment. Dave likes a good crowd to play to and good crowds seem to like him. His cabaret girls are getting livelier these day and though they see Dave bashing the ivories every week on Thursday nights Dave can still surprise them a with a new trick or two. Off stage Dave is a touch reserved and always a gentleman. Dave has been in the Rock Business ever since it became a business as opposed to a teenage rebellion. In the "entertainment" district of Angeles City a professional entertainer like Dave is as rare as rocking horse manure. A true gem

April 07, 2011 @12:31 pm

It has been said there is not much to do in Angeles other to eat, drink, sleep and do it like they do on the Discovery channel. That was until RockinÂ’ Dave arrived in town. He has bought Midnight Rock (Perimeter Road between Foxy and C Italia). He can play the piano with some gusto as his bio suggests and on Thursday when he performs, Midnight Rock is packed and for once the dancing maidens are not the attraction. It is an act that is well worth catching. He has clearly been at it for a long time and it shows!

If anyoneÂ’s looking for some really good live entertainment you must drop by the Midnight Rock bar on Perimeter Road. Thanks to seeing the adÂ’ in the Blue Book, I had one of my best nights out in years. Gee, could this guy, Rockin Dave play that piano. All old boogie woogie and rock from the 50Â’s and 60Â’s. And just when you thought it couldnÂ’t get any better the waitressÂ’s came around giving away free meals supplied by Currie Steve. The place was packed and it was standing room only by 8.30 p.m. When I got home I told the wife my reason for being late but she didnÂ’t believe a word I said, as usual. I might take her with me next time but then again, maybe I wonÂ’t.

On Wednesday, 26 Aug 09, I witnessed great entertainment at the Midnight Rock. I saw first hand the piano playing and singing of "Rockin Dave" at this new Club that was previously known as "Electric Blue". Dave had been open for a few days already but on this particular night he had sort of a formal opening with the help of some of other Club owners who provided an array of dancers that really livened the place up. Represented were ladies from Emotions, Dr. Holm's, Stampede and Eruptions and of course, the Midnight ladies themselves. The highlight of the evening though had to be the show put on by the man himself - Rocking Dave. This is definitely something different to look forward to and I do believe that Dave will develop a good fan base and some loyal customers. I am hoping that he will perform about every hour on the hour for fifteen minutes or so because he is the main attraction. Yes, he has the ladies, the club is nice, the music is not loud, the prices are reasonable, the dancers are energetic but he does need a few more to fill out the bill. This is a club that will not be an overnight success but it will grow in popularity over time. One can feel comfortable taking your girlfriend there and even the Mrs just to see the antics of Dave on stage. One thing is for sure, the Midnight Rock will continue to Rock on and Dave's piano will not be silenced. He has too much talent to share with the patrons of his Club and his business will grow accordingly. Everyone likes to look at the ladies, me included and there sure are enough places in town to do that to your hearts content but there is always room for a bit of show business as well, thank you, Dave, for providing that. Take care Dave, see you soon,

Hi Dave, Hope everything is going well with your new ventures/music/everything in general. I do take a peek at the "ventures", i.e. clubs etc., that you are playing in or buying or whatever it is you do. Impressive. Must be better than loading up a van and trawling up and down the country to different clubs, pubs and bars every night. Yep, I sure do remember those days. And nights. Long, long, nights driving back down motorways and breathing a sigh of relief on reaching the "Hanger Lane" flyover, and realising that bed and sleep were not very far away!

May 19, 2009 @01:57 am

Hi Dave, I saw your video. It's cool and awesome. Twice I have traveled in Mt. Pinatubo. Once in motorcycle and second on a off-road mountain bicycle. It's 12 years since last been there. These slopes and terrains over the mountain keeps changing due to rain or environment change. But what is worse... some people are trying now to vandalize the eco-system surrounding this areas. I hope the natural environment will remain and not be politicize. Thank you for sharing this experience. Francis Ruben Cabatit

Hi,Stella, Wow- I did enjoy Rockin Dave's show- couldnt sit still . They are very conservative up here- and although may not have got up and danced- a lot said they really enjoyed the show. Mike said he would love to have Dave back in the Summer.. The back wall is being knocked out this week, so will hold more people which is good. I have done a write up of the show and pics - on front page of the website. Hope to meet you next time! Sue x

March 02, 2009 @01:13 am

It was interesting to read your piece about Ken Graham making a return to first thoughts were where did he get the money!! Anyway a black bird told me that he had a partner who put up all the money and then they had a falling out....than Ken's wife and her family ran him out of the country. The old drop kick is still up to his old tricks....Regards, No blame. (Wow, heavy comments from a reader who must know Ken fairly well)

Hi Dave Dont worry about Ken Graham, Everybody knows that he is a fraudster and con man. He tried the same thing back in the 90's at Clarkton Hotel. He was run out of Philippines then and he will be again. Gangsters like Ken Graham are not welcome in Angeles City! We all support you Dave. Cheers John and crowd

When are you coming to the States? I would love to see you again and see your show. The beers are on me. Now you have to come!!! I just ordered your CD "A Rocker Guide to the Galaxy". I'm looking forward to listing to it. I made my last jump about a year ago and think this time I might really be retired. I still do some occasional jump flying. I just started a SCUBA course last week. With my new flying job I will be going to the Bahamas and other nice places down south so I decided it would be fun to get out in the water. February 13, 2008 @02:00 pm

Hi Stranger, Messing about on my laptop; looking up and downloading music, as usual, but on this occasion, trying to find the album "Rock 'n' Roll is Still Alive", recorded at Picketts' Lock - Hellraisers, Flying Saucers & Crazy Cavan - I remember it very well, I was there. You had PINK hair and you smashed your piano into hundreds of pieces. It went down well with the audience, but, unfortunately, the Saucers and Cavan weren't quite as impressed. I can't quite remember which one of them followed the Hellraisers on stage, but it was still quite liberally covered with bits of wood, keys and wires! I've read your "biography" - interesting, and the amount of songs you've written and recorded - impressive! Still wondering who this is? Here's a few clues to get you thinking - "Hollingbourne Gardens; The Park; Mrs. Greengrassbanks. Kempston; Mick Richardson; Harold Wood". Any ideas yet? Ok, if you haven't, I give in - Christine! If you do read or receive this message, and if you want to reply, I'm at I'll tell you more about what I've been up to then. Until then, I wish you well, and glad that you've done so much and (from what I've read and seen), achieved what you so desperately always wanted to. You worked so hard towards that goal, and I know, only to well, how frustrating it was in those early days. I typed out pages and pages of lyrics and spent hours patiently copying your music, note by note. Not easy for someone who just about knew the basics of reading music - I just had very neat handwriting and made good use of the photocopiers at work! All the best, Christine O'Callaghan (McCarthy) P.S. I must say, but at your age, (and mine), I think climbing up scaffolding; microphone in hand, is a bit of a dangerous passtime!!!

February 13, 2008 @01:57 pm

Long Time, No See I'm very new to this, so don't know whether you'll get this message or not, but if you do, it's Christine, as in Harold Wood! Still around, still in the same area, still the same; Still around, still in the same area, still the same; just older! (Buster is the name of my dog, the "Collins" bit I'll explain if you get in touch). Impressed by the biography and all you've achieved, well done. Alot of years have passed (I was 17 when we met!!!), Hollingbourne Gdns, The Park, Mrs. Greengrassbanks? (I think that was her name, anyway), "The White House", Kempston....... the list goes on! Would love to hear from you, and I can be emailed at All the Best, Congrats for all you've achieved, you deserved it. I know only too well how frustrating it was all those years ago; all that talent that no-one wanted to see or listen to. Your delight at tracking down a "Lawrence Audio" piano, (just after your Mum and Dad had got you the "Fender Stage 88)! I remember it all very, very, vividly. It may just as well have been yesterday Kind Regards and Thanks for the Memories

February 03, 2008 @07:32 pm

January 18, 2008 @08:28 pm

Hi Dave, A blast from the past, or should I say a ghost from your past!!!! Old Rockers never die, they just GET OLD! Readin your biography was interesting - to say the least - but I knew most of it anyway; I was there for quite a big chunk of it - Picketts Lock is very memorable - you had PINK hair! I still live in the same area; have a daughter of nearly 21, got widowed 7yrs. ago and still love and play all my rock'n' roll stuff, though much of it is downloaded onto cd these days - Limewire and Frostwire! Yes, I use PRO; it has to be paid for! I don't work anymore; I have arthritus and, would you believe it, ASTHMA; I'm the one with all the inhalers these days! Get in touch if you want - I can do the IM (Instant Messaging), like sending bloody text messages, but better, you can at least have some sort of conversation! Take care, it would be interesting to hear from you. Christine

Hi Stella and Dave, you have sure given me an attack of nostalgia!! I have been on the bill with Dave way back in the days of the Lyceum and 'Carousell ents'when he was in 'Flight 56' and I was just starting out in 'Thunderbird', then in the 'Wild Angels' with that hatefull worthless ******* and coward Herbert William Darling aka. Bill(reputation bigger than reality)Kingston! For my part I'm still delivering the good news in a three piece line up and we are doing all right, it's more fun now than it's ever been. Give me a call if you are ever over in the Emerald Isle we'll sort you out with a real wild time! All the best and good luck, In the faith, Rob 'ROOSTER' p.s. if you see Herbert tell him i heard about his heart attack, still with a bit of luck he will live a long time in a great deal of pain, the gutless thieving snyde!

Hi Dave, How's it hanging? Aint seen ya for many a few years, when you actually lived then I believe 1977 in the same part of the World as me Cambs / Beds Border. Many things have passed under the bridge since then. Even titled our house Chateau - Nod, with the name and town the Postie knows who we are. Its great to see that you are still circumnavigating the Rockin' globe - Do consider that Finland was the key to your solo success - though you could newer have made it without your band.
